Electro brushes

 

• With its manufacturing programme of graphite and metallographite brushes MDM o.d. company covers all types of electro starters, alternators, dynamos and other electric motors both for passenger and transport vehicles of a large number of world manufacturers. Brushes contain an impressed code of the manufacturer on its backside.

• Components for manufacturing of brushes (metal powders, graphite powder, binders.) are mixed in a determined proportion and then compacted in appropriate tools in automatic machines which enable a product that structurally and dimensionally satisfies demands without additional machining operations to be obtained. After compacting the brushes are heat-treated in furnaces with protective atmosphere in order to improve their conductivity and strength by carbonisation and sintering processes.
